I’ve managed to stay busy during Lockdown by working with talented musicians and artists I haven't worked with before via social media, the result of this is already 50+ finished songs, many of which we’ve managed to release already! As it’s not been possible to do any studio sessions I had to think outside the box of other things I could do to help the music community, so I created my 1st Drum Kit and One Shot kits to share with other producers so they can make their own music with my sounds, Something I most probably wouldn’t have done if we weren’t in Lockdown.
Being apart of the #SaveTheNight campaign has been one of the most rewarding projects I’ve been involved in. Whether it’s been Dj’ing for a 21st virtual party or giving music and production advice to up and coming musicians, The feedback has been unbelievable, and it feels extremely good to have such a positive effect on peoples lives especially during the current times.
ZDOT' is a name which has been making a lot of noise when it comes to UK production. Playing an integral part within the UK Grime and Rap scenes music over the last 10 years, he's aligned with the biggest artists and produced many of their breakthrough records.
A few of the artists Z has worked with include: Cardi B, Stormzy, Wiley, Bugzy Malone, Charli XCX, Young T & Bugsey, Rita Ora + many more, as well as producing for many top artists Z also composed the music for Playstation's #1 Hit VR game 'Blood & Truth' with an 80 piece orchestra. Z had his music included on Fifa 20 and other games.
Zdot has blessed many stages ('Lovebox', 'Bestival', 'All Points East' to name a few) with his iconic soundsystem sets where he invites many of his friends to join him on the stage which creates a real carnival/party atmosphere.
Following a great start to 2020 with the lead song from Guy Ritchie's 'The Gentlemen' movie, Z has also been releasing his own music from his up coming album 'No More Games' which will be released later this year. He's also been busy with his record & publishing label '101 Music' which had a viral hit with youtube stars Tobi & Manny 'Destined For Greatness' which gained over 10 million views in it's 1st month and got to #31 in the official UK chart.
