Originally from the suburbs outside of New York City, EZI has been inching her way towards a D.I.Y. career in entertainment since 14 years old.


EZI was discovered by shoe mogul Steve Madden in a chance encounter at the Soho Steve Madden Store in New York City. Who after hearing several of her demos decided to sign her to his record label 5 Town Records as his inaugural signee. Following a move to Los Angeles and a record deal, she subsequently released her debut AFRAID OF THE DARK EP. The EP’s breakout single 'DaNcing in a RoOm' led to EZI’s debut appearance on the Billboard Charts when it debuted at #32 on the Dance Chart almost a year after its first release ultimately peaking at #13 and a sync use in Netflix’s critically acclaimed show Atypical. It also saw praise and support from Refinery29, Earmilk, The Line of Best Fit, and more.


In addition to releasing her new music in 2020, EZI has lent her songwriting abilities to artists such as Sabrina Claudio, Kaskade, Kiiara, and Jeremih to name a few.
