Kayla Reid

With nearly 10 years of hospitality experience, Kayla Reid has worked in many different styles of bars, from beer boutiques to dive bars, before eventually settling into high-end cocktails and whiskey.


In 2018, at the age of 24, she was nominated for Bar Manager of the Year while running the high-volume cocktail bar, Savile Row, which has been nominated for numerous awards and taken the titles of Best Bartenders Bar 2018 and Best Cocktail Bar in Queensland 2019 at the Australian Bar Awards.


Kayla has worked closely with various brands, competed in cocktail competitions all over Australia, has done pop-ups in the UK and was named in Australian Bartender Magazine’s Top 100 Most Influential People in 2019. At the end of 2019 she decided to leave Brisbane and move to Melbourne to further her career in hospitality. She is currently working for The Speakeasy Group, a boutique hospitality group based in Sydney and Melbourne, and has recently taken on the role of Bar Manager to help open their latest venue, Nick & Nora’s, Melbourne.
