Anushka

Siberian-born DJ and producer Anushka was surrounded by music the whole life. After visiting the legendary Fabric in London for the first time she decided to become DJ - at the age of 18.
She quickly succeeded thanks to her impeccable taste and long hours spent digging at record shops. Few years after that her accurate approach to mixing and specific dark and deep sound brought appreciation in the Moscow underground scene. None other than iconic Arma 17 became her residency for long years. Since then she played major clubs and festivals or happily collaborated in the studio with her colleagues. Anushka has released on Slowdance, Serialism, Valioso Records, Mean, M-Music and Kammer Musik. The curiosity of her nature led Anushka to SAE Institute in Barcelona where she got a degree in sound engineering. Practicing at Barcelona's music studios with different musicians broadened her horizons and helped to approach music production in a professional way. This is where she first had an idea to create a music label dedicated to avant-garde, experimental music, and spoken word. Behind the decks, Anushka has this natural quality of connecting to her crowd in a relaxed and playful manner. Her selection is not easily defined, given her passion for a wide range of music and styles: from techno to hip-hop. Anushka is currently focusing on solo productions and her Live-set. With all the passion for music, Anushka spends all her time playing - either piano, vinyl or your nerves.
