Eugene Gordeev

Musician, founder of projects Ksztalt, Kurs Valüt and МС Brehunets, Eugene Gordeev lived in Donbas, studied in Kharkiv and now lives in Dnipro and interacts with its contexts.
Gordeev’s sound is inspired by existentialist observations set to EBM and synth-pop music. Refraining from using clichés, the musician creates a unique product based on a synthesis of genres which has already been dubbed “Dnipro-pop”. In his sound combinations he tries to record and formulate Eastern Ukrainian post-industrial identity, and looks for unusual musical and textual solutions.
