XIMENA JIMÉNEZ

Ximena Jiménez a.k.a Goma, is a Colombian lettering artist based in Bogotá who specializes in murals, live art, branding and clothing design.
She was born and raised in Cali, Colombia where she studied Graphic Design at the University of Fine Arts.
In 2014, she traveled to Buenos Aires where she lived for 5 years and fully dedicated herself to study different styles of calligraphy, lettering and typography which started her passion for drawing letters.


Her work has led her to visit different countries all over the world where she has had the pleasure of painting murals and canvases, giving workshops and talks.


In 2019 she launched her first font "Hot Salsa" in collaboration with the Argentinian Type Foundry "Sudtipos" which is now available for purchase at www.sudtipos.com
Over the last years she have worked with companies like Facebook, The Washington Post, Nescafé, Old Parr, Domestika and many others.
