Yailenne Escobar

I’m Yailenne Escobar, she/her pronouns, Colombian American from Chicago currently based in Bushwick, Brooklyn, and I'm a first-generation student in my last year at The New School studying Urban Studies. I am the founder of Para Las Mujeres, For the Women- a platform for Black and Brown artists to share stories and experiences often silenced by society and institutions. Through a podcast and curated events for networking or personal growth, this provides women a space for connecting with their true identity and embracing the range of femininity in our creative community.
