Sam Sidgwick

Sam Sidgwick has been working in the drinks industry for over a decade and, in that time, has won numerous cocktail competitions including the London Old Fashioned Competition by Famous Grouse. As well as bartending, he's been lucky enough to combine this with his other two passions; travel and film-making and, as well as mixing drinks in many Countries on four Continents, has founded the drinks industry-based film company, ABV Media. This has lead him to release '9Tragos' - the award-winning documentary on South American drinking culture, ‘Why Waiheke?’- a beautifully shot short film about the remote island of wine off the coast of New Zealand, and also starred in pilot episodes for the up coming TV show ‘The Backpack Bartender’ in Indonesia and Nepal - and generally play a huge role in expanding the general public's knowledge on the subject of Spirits, Cocktails & Bartending. We are lucky enough to have Sam with us on our Mixology journey and enjoy the sharing of his 20yrs shaking and stirring.
