We are Mast-Jägermeister Service SE ('we', 'us', 'our' and 'Jägermeister'). 'You' and 'your' mean you, the person reading this.
We are providing a free Meister Drop In service so that you and your friends can book our Meisters – from DJ’s to mixologists, chefs to street magicians, dancers to musicians (the 'Meister(s)') – to join your online hang-outs!
This Privacy Notice ('Notice') explains how we collect and use your personal data if you use our Meister Drop In website (www.save-the-night.com) (our 'Site') and service (together, the 'Service').
Under EU data protection law, Jägermeister is the data controller. This means that we are responsible for deciding how and why we hold and use your personal information.

If you are a Meister, your use of the Service is governed by your Terms.
What information do we collect about you?
Whether you are a User (if you sign-up to use our Service to book Meister) or Meister (if you sign-up to offer your skills on our Service), we collect information from you and automatically via our Service if you use our Service.
You provide us with:
Whether you are a User or Meister you may provide us with the following categories of information about you:
- Contact: your name, email address and date of birth (in order to confirm you are of legal drinking age in your region)
- Online ID(s): your online username(s) and meeting IDs/links on online social media and teleconferencing platforms (Skype, Zoom or Houseparty)
- Communications: any correspondence and communications if you contact us (including via emails, texts, calls and social media), including information regarding any questions, comments, or concerns you have with our Service
- Marketing: you may also provide us with your personal marketing and notification preferences (e.g. if you would like to receive promotional emails or texts from us)
If you are a Meister you also provide us with the following:
- Log-in: the email address, and password, for your account
- Financial: your account information, including bank account number and sort code for payment
- Professional: your profession/skills (e.g. bartender, barista, magician, artist, singer, chef), government or similar identification (to confirm you are over legal drinking age in your region), CV/resume, professional or other accreditation details, photo(s) or videos of you, and a profile description/bio
- Profile: a public-facing summary and 'About' profile description, photo(s), short film(s) (e.g. a show-reel or Meisterclass video) and any social media profile links you choose to provide. You may also choose to provide your PayPal.me payment link for tips which Users might provide.
We automatically collect
Whether you are a User or Meister we automatically collect the following categories of data from you each time you use our Service, including:
- Technical information: like your device ID (which we generate for you when you join and is unique to your device) and IP address (which you already have and may be uniquely associated with your device)
- Information about your visit: such as information about your interactions with our Service, including how long you spend on our Service, where and when you use our Service, details of your journey through our Symptom Checker feature, and what assessments and recommendations are generated
- Location data: while using our Site, based on your IP address.

What are our legal grounds for using your data?
In accordance with applicable data protection law, we rely on one or more of the following grounds when processing your data:

Who do we share your personal information with?
We will share your information with:
- if you are a User, we will share your Contact information with Meister that you book
- if you are Meister, we will share your Contact information with any Users who book you.
We may also share your information with:
- companies within the Jägermeister group who may support us in any of the purposes set out in this Privacy Notice (including if you are Meister to facilitate payment under our agreement(s) with you)
- companies who may support us in any of the purposes set out in this Privacy Notice, including helping us manage and administer our Site and Service
- analytics and search engine providers that assist us in the improvement and optimisation of our Service, including by
- measuring the performance of our online campaigns and analysing visitor activity,
- facilitating feedback on our Service, and
- providing IT support for our Service
- any appropriate third party we work with, including but not limited to business partners, customers, suppliers and sub-contractors, for the performance of any contract we enter into with you that assist us in the improvement and optimisation of our Service, including by
- providing a website and data hosting platform,
- distributing communications we send,
- supporting or updating marketing lists,

The Service may, from time to time, contain links to external sites. We are not responsible for the privacy notices or the content of such sites. Your use of external sites will be governed by their respective terms and privacy information.
Where do we store your personal information?
We are based in Germany. We may transfer your personal information to one or more countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA) (including to the United Kingdom (UK) and United States (USA)), where we (or other companies within the Service group) or our Service providers maintain operations. We will take steps to ensure that your data is held safely in such circumstances.
The servers used to process your personal information collected from this website are located in the EEA, but we collect data from wherever users are situated. The information that we collect may therefore be transferred to the United Kingdom from any other country in which you may be located.
Why do we transfer it?
We may transfer your personal information outside the EEA
- in order to store it
- in order to enable us to provide our Platform to you and fulfil our contract with you
- in order for us to provide goods to you and fulfil our contract with you (e.g. if you use Jägermeister Direct). This includes order fulfilment, processing of payment details, and the provision of support services
- where we are legally required to do so
- in order to facilitate the operation of our group of businesses, where it is in our legitimate interests and we have concluded these are not overridden by your rights.

How do we protect your personal information?
We take reasonable steps (including physical, technical and organisational measures) to protect your personal information from unauthorised access and against unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction and damage. We offer industry-standard practices and security measures to safeguard and secure the personal information we collect. Our security policies and Notice are periodically reviewed and enhanced as necessary and only authorised personnel have access to personal information.
Unfortunately, transmission of information via the internet is not perfectly secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information submitted to us and any transmission is at your own risk.
How long do we keep your personal information?
Your personal information (including any health data that you have specifically agreed Jägermeister can use) will be kept by Jägermeister:
- for as long as you are using our Meister Drop In Service, and
- After loss of purpose or after expiry of the statutory retention periods (six years after you stop using the Service) or close your Jägermeister account. This retention period allows us to monitor issues and, if necessary, address any legal proceedings that relate to our agreement(s) with you and maintain our legitimate operations safely and legally. This may include keeping personal information required for our tax reporting requirements, to comply with the expectations of financial and data protection regulators, to help prevent fraud and other financial crime, and to enforce the relevant terms of agreement or otherwise identify, issue or resolve legal proceedings.
If you opt-out of our sending you promotional updates and marketing, or if you object to any other processing of your personal information, we may keep a record of your objection for the legitimate purpose of ensuring that we can continue to respect your wishes and not contact you further during the term of your objection.
We may retain aggregate information indefinitely, for research purposes and to help us develop and improve our Service. You can never be identified from aggregate information retained or used for these purposes.

You have options and choices over how we use your personal information.
